Football: Maribor-Olimpija
Finally the big derby returned to Maribor. Olimpija had to play without their supporters, the Green dragons, because they demolished a train on they way to the game and police sent them back home.
It was the 20. anniversary of existence of Maribor's supporters Viole therefore they made a big spectacle.
NK Maribor started hard and scored a goal in the 3rd minute in front of 7000 spectators. Both teams had many scoring chances but neither of them could score . The game ended with the victory of the home team Maribor 1:0.
